On the outskirts of the village of Erica, in the Dutch province of Drenthe, lies a large greenhouse complex belonging to the Van Geel family. Father Rien founded this family business in 1977 and since 2012 the second generation – led by son Martijn van Geel – has been at the helm. . At the Van Geel Groep, we cultivate more than 100 different orchid varieties (Phalaenopsis) as sustainably as possible and we also specialise in growing chrysanthemums. By investing in our people and in technological innovation, we can create unique products tailored to our customers’ needs.
